West Ham United are close to making a deal with Manchester United for the transfer of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, as reported by Sky Sports. The Hammers have been interested in the 26-year-old for a while and are now actively pursuing his signing after talks for Noussair Mazraoui fell through. The club had previously agreed on a transfer fee for Mazraoui, but negotiations broke down due to his agent's demands for a large commission. Consequently, West Ham has turned their attention back to Wan-Bissaka. Although the player prefers a move to Inter Milan, no offers have materialized at this time. If West Ham finalizes an agreement with United, the Red Devils will work to convince Wan-Bissaka to join them in east London. United sees Mazraoui as an ideal replacement for Wan-Bissaka and anticipate a relatively smooth deal once the latter moves on. They aim to complete the transfer before the start of the new season.
