According to Leonino, Arsenal are willing to offer approximately €120 million to secure the signing of Sporting Lisbon's striker Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedish player had an impressive first season with Sporting, scoring 43 goals and providing 15 assists in all competitions. The Gunners are reportedly close to reaching an agreement on financial terms with the player. Despite Gyokeres having a release clause of €100 million in his contract, Arsenal intends to pay €90 million over five seasons and include €30 million in performance-based add-ons, exceeding the release clause amount. Gyokeres, who underwent minor knee surgery, is expected to return to training at the start of pre-season and could potentially join the Arsenal squad at that time.
