1. FSV Mainz 05 will be without goalkeeper Robin Zentner for their next two Bundesliga matches, as confirmed by the club.
Zentner sustained a suspension following a collision with Karim Adeyemi during the 67th minute of Mainz's 2-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund, where he prevented a goal-scoring opportunity.
The 30-year-old will miss matches against Hamburger SV on Sunday and Bayer 04 Leverkusen on October 18.
Mainz has accepted the ruling from the German Football Association's sports court, making the two-match ban legally binding.
In Zentner's absence, 24-year-old Lasse Reiß, who made two Bundesliga appearances last season, is anticipated to take over as the starting goalkeeper.
