Bayer Leverkusen has announced the signing of promising talent Ndjicoura Bomba, following their recent acquisition of Farid Alfa-Ruprecht.
The 17-year-old centre-forward from Mali will join the Bundesliga runners-up upon reaching the age of majority in March 2026. Currently, Bomba is playing for Club Sportif de Bamako in Mali.
Bayer 04 highlighted that Bomba garnered attention during the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in April, where he scored three goals and provided two assists in six matches, helping Mali reach the final.
Reports indicate that the transfer fee for Bomba is €1.5 million. Leverkusen has also previously signed another talented player from Mali, Issa Traoré, bringing the total number of U20 players acquired during this transfer window to five.
