Jeff Chabot has addressed speculation regarding his future with VfB Stuttgart amid reported interest from Juventus and Saudi clubs.
The VfB Stuttgart centre-back has been linked with a potential summer transfer, with Juventus and Saudi Arabian clubs Al Nassr and Neom SC reportedly interested in acquiring his services.
Despite the rumors, the 27-year-old stated that he currently has no plans to leave Stuttgart. "These are just rumours – I can’t always do anything about them. When such rumours are out there, of course you hear them. It’s always hard to talk about – because those are big names. You’re flattered – but you don’t spend much time thinking about it," Chabot told reporters at Stuttgart's pre-season training camp.
He further emphasized, "I haven’t had contact with anyone. I’m here – and that’s the only thing that matters. I’m very happy here – and I know what I’ve got here. This is a great club – I’m looking forward to the season."
Chabot joined Stuttgart from 1. FC Köln for a reported fee of €4 million last summer.
