Leverkusen Set to Finalize Initial Summer Signing on Friday

Bayer Leverkusen is reportedly finalizing a deal to sign Ibrahim Maza from Hertha BSC, according to multiple sources.

The 19-year-old playmaker is expected to become Leverkusen’s first signing of the summer, with reports indicating that he will sign a long-term contract following Hertha’s match against 1. FC Magdeburg on Friday evening. The contract is anticipated to extend until 2030.

Hertha BSC is expected to receive a transfer fee of approximately €10 million for the talented teenager.

Born in Berlin, Maza represents the Algerian national team and has been a key player for Hertha this season, contributing seven goals and five assists across 32 competitive matches.

He is now poised to bring his successful form to the Bundesliga, potentially filling the role of Florian Wirtz, who may leave Leverkusen this summer.
