Joe Scally Critiques Gladbach's Lack of Killer Instinct in Loss to Dortmund

Following a 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach defender Joe Scally provided an honest assessment of his team's performance at the Wesfalenstadion.

Despite the loss, Scally expressed pride in his team's efforts, while identifying key areas for improvement. He noted, "We gave the ball away too easily [to Dortmund]. When you play against such a good team they are going to counter and score very easily and that's what they did."

Scally highlighted the team's lack of "killer instinct" in front of goal, a recurring issue from their previous match against SC Freiburg. He stated, "We need to fix our killer instinct in front of the next." He emphasized the need to enhance their one-on-one dribbling skills, which he believes are crucial for scoring.

Regarding Borussia Monchengladbach's aspirations for European competition, Scally concluded, "We will take it game by game and see where we end up."
