Borussia Dortmund have reportedly expressed interest in signing Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Robin Koch, as indicated by sources in Germany.
The club has allegedly initiated contact with Koch's representatives regarding a potential transfer this summer. The player is expected to be available for a fee between €18-20 million, due to a release clause in his contract, which extends until 2027.
However, Dortmund's ability to secure Koch's transfer may hinge on their qualification for the Champions League. Achieving a place in the prestigious tournament would enhance the club's financial capacity and make the prospect of joining Dortmund more appealing for Koch.
Koch made the move to Eintracht Frankfurt from Leeds United in the summer of 2023 and has quickly established himself as a crucial player in the team's defense.
