Danish international Mads Roerslev has officially joined VfL Wolfsburg.
VfL Wolfsburg has confirmed the acquisition of Roerslev, a 25-year-old right-back, who makes the switch on loan from Brentford FC for the remainder of the season.
Wolfsburg's sporting director, Sebastian Schindzielorz, expressed enthusiasm about the signing, stating, “With Mads, we are gaining a versatile, excellently trained defender who has a lot of experience for his age and is far from the end of his development. We are delighted that we have been able to convince Mads to join VfL.”
Roerslev, who will join fellow Danish internationals Jonas Wind, Joakim Mæhle, and Andreas Skov Olsen at the Volkswagen Arena, shared his excitement about the move: “I'm very happy to be here. VfL Wolfsburg is a very good club and I like the way the team plays football. I'm delighted to be a part of it now and can't wait to play in this wonderful stadium.”
