Daniel Peretz has clarified his decision to remain at Bayern Munich this month, despite interest from several clubs.
Recent reports indicate that Peretz declined a loan offer from RC Lens, with additional inquiries from Como, FC Copenhagen, and Tottenham regarding Bayern's second-choice goalkeeper.
In an interview with Sport Bild, Peretz stated, "I had several talks and offers to go on loan until the end of the season. There was interest." He emphasized the importance of playing time but ultimately chose to stay, saying, “I really like the club and the team. We have something special here.”
Currently, Peretz is recovering from a kidney contusion and is expected to return to the field in late January or early February.
On his injury, the 24-year-old said, "I feel good. The injury is a bit unusual, so we needed time and had to do some tests. I needed a few days to recover, so I spent a few days in Israel."
