According to reports, Wednesday's Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk is unlikely to be Mike Tullberg's final game as interim coach of Borussia Dortmund.
Tullberg recently took over as caretaker boss, leading the team to a 2-2 draw against Werder Bremen despite facing an early red card for player Nico Schlotterbeck.
Following the match, Dortmund's managing director for sport, Lars Ricken, confirmed that Tullberg would continue in his role for the upcoming Champions League clash. Reports indicate that he may also remain in charge for the Bundesliga match against Heidenheim on Saturday, after which he is expected to return to his position with the Under-19 team.
Former FC Bayern and Wolfsburg coach Niko Kovac is reportedly the frontrunner to succeed the previous coach, Sahin.
