Manchester United are not planning to sign Chelsea's Ben Chilwell before the transfer window closes on Friday. The England international is no longer part of manager Enzo Maresca's plans and has been encouraged to seek a new opportunity. Despite previous links, reports suggest that United are not interested in pursuing the left-back. Although United are currently lacking in the left-back position due to injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, they have options in Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, and young talent Harry Amass. Shaw is expected to return to action after the international break, so United is not pursuing a deal for Chilwell.
