Liverpool is considering a bold move to acquire Viktor Gyokeres, a striker from Sporting Lisbon, as per Football Insider. Despite previously investing in Darwin Nunez, who has underperformed, the club is contemplating a substantial investment in a new forward. Gyokeres, who had an outstanding season with Sporting Lisbon, scoring 43 goals and providing 15 assists, has caught the attention of Liverpool and other clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur. Although his release clause is €100 million, reports suggest Sporting could be open to selling him for around €80 million. Additionally, Gyokeres recently recovered from a knee operation and showcased his form by scoring a hat-trick in a friendly match.
