Chelsea are in discussions with Lille regarding the potential transfer of Jonathan David, as reported by The Athletic. The club is in search of a new center-forward and has been linked with several players. They have reached out to Lille for David, who scored 26 goals and provided nine assists last season. Lille has decided to sell David as his current contract expires in June next year. While he was previously valued at around €50 million, he could now be available for a lower fee of around €30 million. Although Chelsea has initiated contact with Lille for the player, they face competition from AC Milan and Manchester United. David is also considering his options and will make a decision after the Copa America.
