Red Bull has acquired a minority ownership share in Leeds United, a team in the Championship league. Despite their failure to secure promotion to the Premier League, the club may receive significant investment in their squad from Red Bull in the upcoming summer. Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe expressed that Red Bull's involvement is a significant milestone that will enhance the club's competitive potential. Red Bull already owns other football clubs such as RB Leipzig in the German Bundesliga, Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, and the New York Red Bulls in the MLS. Leeds United has been under the ownership of 49ers Enterprises since last summer, with actors Russell Crowe and Will Ferrell also holding stakes in the club.
